Hello. In the latest releases of Libre Time (4), I noticed an incorrect operation when using the following calendar configuration with a schedule (see screenshot, Libre Time version 4.5.0) with only one single show. This show has daily repeats using a playlist consisting of automation for adding tracks from certain music categories. This scheme works without technical failures for a month for 27-30 days, then the radio broadcasting goes offline, while the system informs on the main page that there is ‘Current: Nothing Scheduled‘. There is a show on the calendar itself. Moreover, sometimes the playlist of a show does not load, or the current show itself may be inactive, where you have to create a new playlist for a given day, and automation starts working again the next day for a month.
A similar calendar setup with a schedule works year-round on Libre Time version 3.0.0-alpha.10 — no such problems were found there.
Thanks for the temporary solution, but it doesn’t work for me. When I restart the libretime service, the following happens:
The radio stops working for about 30-50 seconds.
The libretime-liquidsoap service crashes, and when the current track ends, the next track starts playing simultaneously. To resolve this issue, you need to restart the system service using the command sudo systemctl restart libretime-liquidsoap.service.
In my case, it’s easier to check if the radio broadcast is interrupted after midnight on those days (closer to the middle of the month) when the broadcast may be interrupted. In case of technical equipment failure, I simply load a pre-prepared daily playlist, and everything starts working again for an entire month.
I’m considering returning to the libretime 3.0.0-alpha.10 version, which has been working smoothly on my other dedicated server for many years.
