All our live DJ’s are connecting via the /shows Mountpoint to broadcast live
On hand over from one DJ to the next we are experiencing between 5-7 seconds of dead air until the next DJ connects has anybody experienced the same issue and how did you go about correcting this?

I suspect it’s most easily resolved by adding some kind of underlying track that will play when nobody is connected. Otherwise it’s probably a matter of timing and delay between the stream buffer building. It might be possible to tweak the liquid soap settings to minimize this but be very careful when modifying the config because it can break everything if you mess up liquid soap.
Off the top of my head I’m not sure what specific setting you could change either but that is my best advice in terms of helping you resolve your issue.
